New emblems all around. Vacuum system works great. Wiper and Headlights operate easily. Clock even works!! Speedo and Tach are working, just not exact. Most gauges seem to operate correctly. Rare Shoulder Belt option. Car has been involved in an accident and repaired at some point. Car has been repainted factory White, but not the best paint job. Some overspray here and there. Still some damage on the passenger side as noted in photo. There is repair done to driver fender, a line is visible, but hard to see in photos. Exhaust needs adjustment, rattles while driving and pipe is hanging a little low. Little oil seepage around valve cover gaskets, but nothing unexpected out of a 48 year old car. Motor and trans run very strong. Smooth acceleration and great shifting. More than likely have been rebuilt. Factory Polar White with black vinyl. A great driver car or a perfect resto project. April 25, 2016. 1) Original 327ci engine is the highlight of this car. The last year for the 327 which is one of the reasons I purchased it in the spring of 2001. It has been driven very little since then but kept in a climate controlled garage. I am trying to switch occupations which I do not have the time or space anymore. I have tried to keep the car closest to the original condition as possible; however, the front end damage has set me back. Unfortunately the car was under the carport, started with remote starter, neutral safety switch failed, and the car hit a tree. No frame damage, but fiberglass work will be needed, headlamp assembly and front bumpers. Besides the front end work, the car needs the following: paint job, rear bushings, electrical work, and a lot of fine tuning. In 2009 the engine and transmission were rebuilt. The original camel hump heads and intake were reworked as well. We installed new or replaced just about anything that was near the engine while it was out. This includes all brakes (original 4-wheel disc pads, new rotors, calipers, booster, master cylinder, proportion valves, and stainless brake lines), front suspension (new springs, shocks, bushings, tie-rods), power steering (rebuilt pump, steering box, and control arms), new alluma-cool radiator, new Holley 600 spreadbore (still have quadrajunk available), all correct hoses and belts, new compressor, evaporator coil, heater coil (all parts that go to a/c as well however compressor not installed yet), correct loop carpet, firewall insulation, guages, and hei distributor with tach drive. The seats and interior are in fair shape. I have so many new parts still in boxes (nobs for radio, new guages, trim, etc.). I have receipts for all of these parts and engine work. They total close to $15,000. Most parts were aquired from Davies Corvette and Corvette Central. The car runs and drives, but I am not confident with it at high speeds. I currently have it registered and insured. I would love to talk about the car all day, but the good old days are gone. You can text if you have general questions and I will try to respond quickly. Good deal for someone who wants an original car and can do some body and electrical work. Motor suffix code is V0308HO. Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is I16. $6,800.
